OCDify uses the category names you provide as context for the AI. The more descriptive your category names, the more accurately files are sorted.
Real-Time File Watching
OCDify uses macOS's native file system events to detect new files the instant they appear. There is no polling interval — the response is immediate.
Toggle auto-organize on or off from the menubar at any time. You can also trigger a one-time manual sort of all existing files in a watched folder.
Menubar Convenience
OCDify lives in your menubar, not your Dock. It runs quietly in the background and surfaces a compact menu when you need it.
From the menubar you can pause or resume auto-organization, check recent activity, manage watched folders, and open the full settings window — without switching away from what you're working on.

The app runs as a sandboxed menubar agent (LSUIElement), has no login, collects no analytics, and makes no network connections once the AI model is downloaded.
